Great day to be on the River Tay and River Lyon. Water Levels high though well below last nights peak. It looks good for the weekend though cooling off somewhat. We are starting our white water kayak courses in a few weeks due to good demand. It is highly advisable to have a dry suit if you want to get the most out of the day.
These are ideal courses for anyone from Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Oban and Glasgow only 2hrs drive. We can usually supply self catering accommodation in the cosy cottages.
Have a great time on the river!

Check out dates and prices page for this years kayaking courses and holidays.
With the very mild weather and heavy rain river levels rose sharply , but with the ground frozen hard and temperatures falling and no rain forecast for the next 5 days they can be expected to fall fairly quickly as well.

So a new Sea Kayaking Shop in Scotland on the water. Where? Edinburgh?
Glasgow? Aberdeen? Nope its in Oban. Sea kayak oban is the ONe Stop shop for all things Sea Kayaking where you want it to be on the West Coast where you can demo the sea kayaks and paddle off into the wide blue yonder as soon as you have made your purchase.
