Thursday, November 17, 2011, 07:31 PMWe have been working hard to put together a really exciting programme for 2012.
We have just booked a superb 4 star self-catering house for our Isle of Mull (South) trip based near the tip of the Ross of Mull just across the sound from Iona. An area of numerous small islands made of pink granite and beautiful sandy beaches. Trips start 22nd April, 13th May and 9th Sept using this house. There will be other trips running in the same area between may and september that are camping based.
We have availability at the moment on a 6 day trip to St. Kilda based on the MV CUMA with twin bed cabins and fully catered. This is in te 3rd week of June.

Sunday, July 3, 2011, 02:44 PMThe Inner Hebrides guided sea kayaking trips have proved very popular again this year so we have added more dates.
This course/holiday blends the 5 day Sea Kayaking Intro Course with the Inner Hebrides Improver 5 day "holiday".
It is aimed at those who have done just a very small amount or sea kayaking or some river kayaking and would like to progress or just have a great holiday.
This means we cover the syllabus of the 5 day course but spend Wednesday and Thursday nights out camping so that you learn the skills associated with paddling a loaded sea kayak & camping from one. We meet at 9.30am on the first day and are finished by 4.30pm on the last day.
It means if the weather is obliging you may get to visit more remote locations.
Usually participants provide their own camping gear but we can provide stoves and tents especially for those who travel by public transport.
Contrary to popular belief the midges on the coast are not a problem most of the time. They only emerge in June and then whenever there is at least slight breeze they disappear. So perhaps one evening in seven are they a nuisance in July & August.
